Project Objectives

Objective: Reduce loss of live and assets from flood.

Expected Outcomes

1. Increased access and capacity of communities and local institutions to climate information services and effective early warning systems to cope with climate variability and multi-hazard risks. 2. Communities and local institutions are well-equipped with risk-informed Early Action Plans to foster child-centred anticipatory action for reducing loss and damage. 3. Learnings from localized child-centered Early Action Planning embedded in the Disaster Risk Management Framework across local and national Anticipatory Action in order to minimize shocks from extreme events.
