Project Objectives

1100 Sustainable provision of a quality essential package of leprosy care by the Government health system with support from civil society. 1200 Sustainable implementation of an evidence- based data driven active case finding program. 1300 Sustained demand for leprosy services throughout the continuum of care * Improve capacity of health system to provide essential package of care for leprosy. * Improved Government of Bangladesh ownership for implementation of the essential package of care for leprosy. * Improve commitment of policy makers for active case finding. * Improved attitude and awareness about leprosy among community leaders and the general community. * Improved knowledge about leprosy in people affected by and at risk of leprosy.

Expected Outcomes

Contribute towards a leprosy-free Bangladesh: there is zero transmission, zero morbidity, zero disability, zero stigma and discrimination due to leprosy
