Project Objectives

Project Goal: Create a sustainable, multi-product farming system that increases farm income, improves food security and reduces waste through the symbiotic relationship between fish, livestock and crops. Project Objective: Include improving farmer income and food security by recycling animal/Agricultural waste for fish feed and fertilizer, reducing operating costs by eliminating purchased feed and fertilizer, managing waste to control pollution, maximizing resource use on a working areas to produce multiple commodities (fish, livestock, crops), increasing local food producing and employment opportunities and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Expected Outcomes

Increased food production, enhanced food security and environment conservation through the synergistic generation of resources with in integrated farming system.
