The main objective of the BRAC Education Programme (BEP) is to provide quality primary and continuing education to out-of-school children, girls, poor families, ethnic minorities, and others from disadvantaged communities in Bangladesh. Key goals include ensuring girls' education, enhancing access for marginalized groups, developing children's life and social skills, and supporting their transitions to secondary and lifelong education to alleviate poverty and promote empowerment
The BRAC education programme has successfully graduated millions of children from its schools, improved literacy and numeracy skills, and promoted girls' education through a focus on child-friendly, community-driven education models. It provides second chances to over-aged learners, integrates digital learning, and fosters critical life skills, leading to high pass rates in national exams and empowering communities to achieve social and economic transformation
