Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

NDF is to work towards creating opportunities for the poor and marginalized people, with special Focus on the most vulnerable ethnic communities, to form community based organizations in line with their traditional social organizations to access their human rights to develop and strengthen capacities and skills for them to achieve a level of empowerment that will assure their holistic and sustainable development in human, socio-economic, cultural and political dimensions.

Vision Statement

NDF envisions a society, in which the vulnerable ethnic communities and other underprivileged people can enjoy equal opportunities with assured fundamental human rights free from any form of discrimination.

Objectives

1) To plan and implement socio-economic development projects and programmes that will benefit the poor and backward sections of the communities for general welfare of men, women, youth and children. 2) To facilitate people’s participation promoting community based organizations to enable them to become self-reliant in development efforts. 3) To undertake any activities towards improving the living standard of people 4) To provide education among the children and adults for leading meaningful and satisfactory life. 5) To plan and implement public health and family planning programmes. 6) To promote and undertake small cottage industries, cattle farming, agriculture farming, fishing, fishing activities and any other activities appropriate to create meaningful and profitable employment opportunities towards improving the living standard of people. 7) To support and impart knowledge and skills development thorough training. 8) To work in close cooperation with any social welfare organization both National and international. 9) To develop human values, social justice and awareness among all human beings. 10) To collect subscription, donations in cash and king, raise funds from both national and international sources for implementing different projects and programmes towards achieving the aims and objectives of NDF. 11) To undertake cultural development programs for the ethnic communities.

Major Activities

1. Microfinance Program NDF implements microfinance as a tool for poverty alleviation and sustainable socio-economic development. The program focuses on: Loan Disbursement: Providing loans to poor and marginalized households for small businesses, agriculture, and other income-generating activities. Savings Mobilization: Encouraging members to develop a savings habit for financial security. Savings Return: Ensuring transparency and accountability in savings return to members. Loan Repayment & Installments: Realizing loan installments on time to maintain fund circulation and sustainability. Through microfinance, NDF empowers the poor, particularly women, by creating self-employment opportunities and improving family income.
