• Social Empowerment: Strengthening grassroots democracy through Union Federations and ensuring the rights of the rural poor. • Livelihood Improvement: Engaging in projects focused on food security, agriculture, and income-generating opportunities, including microfinance for youth and women. • Education and Well-being: Working to include children from poor communities in education, improve learning, and support their physical well-being with nutrition and hygiene initiatives. • Health Services: Providing health services, including ante-natal care, and working towards disease prevention and community-based rehabilitation. • Climate Change Adaptation: Promoting tree plantation and other adaptation strategies to build resilience against climate change. • Humanitarian Response: Providing emergency relief and humanitarian assistance to affected communities.
RDRS Bangladesh's major activities focus on sustainable development and social empowerment across its core areas: social empowerment, women's rights, education, health, food security and nutrition, climate change adaptation, and livelihood improvement for vulnerable groups like char dwellers and ethnic minorities.
